You Found Me

I'm Odiin, a CELTA qualified language teacher, and now, a game designer. I built this game, and the academy within. It took me nine months making something I couldn't find anywhere else — a vocabulary tool and learning system that I like to use, and that works for me.

If you're just passing through, welcome. If you're curious about what this project is really about, keep reading.

The Bigger Picture

FlashBoss wasn't built to make money. It was built to make language education available to everyone, everywhere.

The version on Steam right now is step one. It funds what comes next — a mobile version so anyone with a phone can learn, and building out more languages and interfaces in collaboration with native speakers. The ultimate plan is to make a professional version across all platforms, and that day, release this terminal release for free online, including language packs.

German and Esperanto are live. Spanish is in development. French follows. Every sale and every review moves the project closer to standing on its own.

But right now, it's week one. And week one needs pioneers.

Pioneers

This project doesn't need millions of users. It needs its first hundred.

If FlashBoss is working for you, here's what carries it forward — in order of impact:

  1. Leave a Steam review. This is the single most powerful thing you can do. Steam won't recommend FlashBoss to new players until enough people speak up. A sentence is enough.
  2. Tell one person. Someone you know who's learning a language. A forum you're part of. A comment somewhere. Word of mouth is how small projects survive their first month.
  3. Stick with it. Ten minutes a day. Let the spaced repetition build. The system is designed to prove itself over time — and every active player is evidence that this approach works.

The long-term vision is a free, universal language tool funded by a commercial edition that earns its place. You're not just buying flashcards. You're funding a project that wants to give them away.

Thank you for being early. It matters more than you know.
